Over the Bank Holiday Sunday Redditch Cricket Club held their annual 6-a-side tournament. Wilmat entered a side for the first time and were narrowly beaten in the final in an exciting bowl off!
This year it was all in aid of Acorns and their childrens hospice trust. Not only has various events like the 6 a side been arranged to raise money for the cause but some of the lads from the club are taking on the challenge of riding from the cricket club all the way to Paris!!! (impressive) The lads are hard at it in training and everyone at Wilmat would like to wish them all the best as the tough long journey is soon to begin! A great day was had by all and we look forward to returning next year hopefully finishing a place better off 🙂
